Capt. Dave Collins was born and raised native of Delaware. He grew up in-shore fishing with his father, Davis Collins, until he was in his teenage years. Then, he started off-shore fishing in Ocean City, Maryland, until his mid-20’s. In early 2000, he started fishing with Capt. Ike Eisenhauer on the Capt. Ike II charter boat where he worked as a mate. After getting his Captain’s License, he started running the boat and eventually bought the business in 2005. Capt. Dave offers a variety of trips from in-shore bottom fishing to day and overnight off-shore trips. For the past 10 years, the number of trips and clientele has increased immensely. To date, the Capt. Ike II charter boat database of past and present anglers totals 300+. Many of them have sent emails, letters and sometimes pictures thanking him for his expertise and patience in showing them where and how to catch the fish. He takes pride in his reputation as a responsible and experienced boat captain. Capt. Dave is always ready for the next trip out!
